The other modifier, the O button, is set to flight control, so for example with O+POV I trim the aircraft, O+Button 10 is the wheel brake for landing and so on and so forth. For example, I have setup the X button as a modifier, and all the keybindings that use it are sensor and targeting controls, so X+POV slews the Shkval, X+Button 9 turns on the laser painter, etc, this way I know that if I want to do anything with my weapons or sensors it will be X+something. Since there's a lot of controls, I decided to setup 2 modifiers and then keep al the keybinding with each modifier within the same category of controls, so things make sense. Then you have to think about priorities when assigning them, for me I decided that countermeasures had to be on accesible buttons without modifiers, because you don't wanna lose time thinking on the keybinding when you have a missile on your tail. First, you have to decide wich controls you can't have in the keyboard, for me things like the gear or the flaps are left as keyboard shortcuts because I don't have to press them while maneuvering or during combat, so first setup simple missions and see which controls you are using more often. As such, Su-25 features keyboard and joystick cockpit commands with a focus on the most mission critical of cockpit systems. The bindings will depend on your preferences, but I'll share the thinking behind mine. Some switches and buttoms use key bindings that can be different depends of the keyboard you are using.
